Sameer Kapoor focuses his practice on representing debtors, creditors, and trustees in bankruptcy.

As part of his practice, Mr. Kapoor has assisted in the representation of creditors’ committees in bankruptcy cases involving bank holding companies, hospitals, and automobile retailers.  He has also assisted in the representation of trustees and liquidating agents in bankruptcy cases involving bank and insurance holding companies, hospitals, telecommunications entities, textile and industrial packaging manufacturers, and fraudulent investment operations.

Mr. Kapoor has represented trustees and liquidating agents in the prosecution of causes of action seeking to avoid and recover avoidable transfers, including preferences and fraudulent transfers. His experience also includes representation of various entities in defending against causes of action brought by bankruptcy trustees, including preferences and fraudulent transfers and representation of financial institutions as secured and unsecured creditors in bankruptcy cases.
